Oil Products

Gasoil

A middle distillate product similar to diesel, gasoil is used as a fuel for heating, marine engines, and some industrial processes. It’s crucial to distinguish between different types, such as high-sulfur or low-sulfur gasoil, depending on regulatory requirements and needs.

Diesel

Another middle distillate, diesel fuel is widely used for transportation and industrial purposes. Like gasoil, diesel specifications can vary, particularly with respect to sulfur content (e.g., ultra-low sulfur diesel) and cetane number, which affects combustion quality.

Fuel Oil

Often used in power plants and industrial facilities, fuel oil is a heavier, less-refined product primarily used for heating or as a backup fuel source. It’s important to specify the grade of fuel oil, as this can vary significantly in terms of sulfur content and viscosity.

Gasoline

A light petroleum distillate used mainly as fuel in internal combustion engines. Octane rating (e.g., 87, 91) and any additives (such as ethanol content) is key, as these factors affect performance and emissions.

Virgin Base Oils

Group I Base Oils

  • SN100

  • SN150

  • SN350

  • SN500

  • SN600

  • SN900

  • BS150

These oils are the traditional choice for many lubricating products due to their solvency and cost-effectiveness. Ideal for use in automotive lubricants, industrial oils, and process oils, Group I base oils are available in a range of viscosities and with different levels of refining to meet specific application needs.

Group II Base Oils

  • 60N

  • 70N

  • 100N

  • 110N

  • 150N

  • 220N

  • 500N

  • 600N

  • BS

Offering better antioxidation properties compared to Group I, Group II base oils provide elevated performance for automotive and industrial applications. These oils have higher purity and are commonly used in the formulation of high-performance engine oils, gear oils, and hydraulic fluids.

Group III Base Oils

  • 2 CsT

  • 3 CsT

  • 4 CsT

  • 6 CsT

  • 8 CsT

Known as synthesized hydrocarbons, Group III base oils are highly refined to have greater purity and improved properties, such as oxidative stability and low-temperature fluidity. These characteristics make them suitable for high-grade lubricants required in cutting-edge engines and machines.

Group IV Base Oils (Polyalphaolefins, PAOs)

  • PAO 2

  • PAO 4

  • PAO 6

  • PAO 8

  • PAO 10

  • PAO 12

Group IV base oils are fully synthetic and offer superior performance in extreme conditions due to their uniform molecular structure. They are typically used in applications demanding high thermal stability and excellent low-temperature performance, such as in aviation and refrigeration oils.

Group V Base Oils (Pale Oils / Naphthenics)

  • P40

  • P60

  • P100

  • P400

  • P750

  • P1200

  • P2000

This group includes all other base oils that do not fall into the categories of Groups I through IV. Group V is a diverse category often used for amplifying the properties of lubricants blended with other base stocks. These oils, including esters and polyglycols, are frequently utilized in high-performance applications and environmentally friendly formulations.

Re-Refined Base Oils

Sustainable Performance Through Advanced Re-refining

At Petrobell, we are committed to sustainability and environmental stewardship, which is why we proudly offer re-refined base oils as a key component of our product line-up. Re-refined base oils are produced by processing used oil, which has been collected and carefully treated to remove contaminants and used additives. This process not only conserves natural resources but also reduces environmental impact compared to refining crude oil.

Quality and Applications

Our re-refined base oils meet the same stringent quality specifications as virgin base oils. They are suitable for use in a variety of applications, including automotive lubricants, heavy-duty motor oils, and industrial lubricants. Re-refined oils are increasingly recognized for their quality and performance in demanding conditions, offering a high-quality, sustainable alternative for environmentally conscious customers. Re-Refined are available in 3 different qualities, Group I, Group II and Group III.

Benefits of Re-Refined Base Oils

  • Environmental Sustainability: Reduces waste and conserves crude oil resources by recycling used oil into high-quality lubricants.
  • Economic Efficiency: Provides cost-effective lubrication solutions without compromising on performance or safety.
  • High Performance: Delivers robust protection and efficient operation in various engine types and machinery, maintaining high standards of lubrication and stability.

Through our associates’ advanced re-refining processes, Petrobell ensures that customers receive premium quality base oils that support both their operational needs and their commitments to environmental responsibility.
